This week's topic is blogging and marketing.
According to the class PPt, short video and top-blog examples, Redesign* your own class blog to make it more marketable.
*Redesign--
You don't have to actually redesign it, but if you want to keep the blog for future use, you are more than welcome to do so.
For this blog entry, you only need to write down your idea (200 words), how would you redesign your blog to make it more marketable.
My idea of redesigning my blog is to make it more interactive and fresh, everyday I must upload my relevant musicians and artists if I am going for the music blog. User friendliness is the largest problems with all blogs, so the idea to solve this problems is to color coordination and articulation of word play on the hyperlinks. Also the coordination of categories will have to be set in stone because without simple separated categories on top of the blog users can easily become confused. Also I would advertise the musicians on their own pages on the blogs side page to not only advertise for myself but to also coordinate with other blogs to advance user visits on both sites.

Media Marketing at its best (Blog #2)
Based on what we have learnt and discussed in module 1 & 2--marketing rules and online social networking, find one example (you can use pictures or videos as supporting materials) that appropriately represents the importance of online media in marketing/ as a successful case using online media in marketing.
Online marketing has become one of the largest variables in the media today, through web design to the algorithmic equations to sell items. There are many techniques and creative ideas through online marketing, a lot of the surprising marketing niches that have been sifted out of the bunch are conglomerates of the online music and clothing line scene. A website I use, "theKollection" has established themselves as an online retailer for Mike Stud's clothing line, "Freshletes" and "Knockaround" sunglasses.
Mike Stud is a former colligate athlete that had torn some muscles which caused him to quit the sport of baseball and began rapping. The genre of rapping relates to Mike Posner, Huey Mack, Sammy Adams and The Deans list. The way I put it, it's "Frat Rap". Mike Stud raps about his troubles as a young adult/college student which is easily relatable with many online college students looking for eccentric and free music online. Because of the regulations of the internet, rappers such as Mike Stud, Huey Mack, Logic and many more have troubles making money off of their music. Therefore, the blogs that the music is posted to such as theKollection, Camelback Music, Goodmusicallday and various other websites have accumulated enough online regular visitors that the website themselves incorporate the clothing line that the rapper wear in their music videos.
For example, this web site is "Freshletes" which is a blog that releases music and sells accesories and clothes of the popular online rappers. The web development of music and clothing has become commercialized but with a new essence to the blog because the clothes alway are offered after they are worn in a music video by various artists.

Mike Stud - Youth (prod. One Love)
As for this music video, Mike Stud wears every single one of his t-shirts that was going to be displayed on the Freshletes website for fans to buy. The clothing line only became as big as the artists was, so with the rules that were explains, "content is the most important". Today, Freshletes has gathered a couple of musicians to wear their clothing line such as Mac Miller and The Winners Circle whom were bigger artists before the blog was started. In effect, it is a circle from artist to online music video to music video becoming a commercial to the website of Freshletes selling the clothing items, which has helped each artists and marketing store to further each branch of the marketing technique.
